| We decided to
test out our knowledge of MATTER, by finding
out if we could turn a solid apple into a
liquid. The seniors peeled all of the
apples, and then we added heat to change our
state of matter. |

We had to stir a
lot! But the heat did the trick. |
|
After
cooking most of the morning, we
found out that we could change
our solid into a semi-solid
liquid. But to our
surprise, we also found out that
some of the apple turned into a
GAS when we lifted the lid and
let the steam out. What a
great experiment! |

Of
course the best part of being a
quality scientist, is being able
to "eat" the experiment! |
