STANDARD 14-A
Understand and explain basic principles
of the United States government.

responsibilities that students have in school to help promote order and safety.
Name some of the benefits of sharing and
taking turns during games and group activities.
Explain why schools have rules to help

Give an example of how governments help

Understand the structures and functions
of the political systems of Illinois, the United States and other nations.
